Hey guys——especially for Note20 Ultra series users. Please check the condition of your phone screen. My N20U produces a large special bright spot in gray background (not visible under the * # 0 * # test mode three primary colors and pure white), and can clearly distinguish the outline of the fingerprint sensor.

Is this a kind of burn-in screen? I found that some non-Australian N20U users also have the same problem. If you google [ note20 ultra gluegate ], you'll see that they're all very similar problems. Please you guys check your phone whether have this screen problem or not, such as use Chrome under darkmode.

By the way, complain about the. Samsung Australia repair center (Techwork). I discovered this problem two months ago. I first handed it to the Samsung service center and then the technician told me that everything was fine with the phone. At that time BNE was under Covid-19 lockdown and I needed my phone, so I didn't give it to them a second time soon. This problem has been bothering me more and more recently. A week ago I decided to give it to the service center for the second time and told them that I would provide evidence of the screen problem if the repair center contact me. However, without anyone giving me feedback, I was told that the repair was completed?! When I got the test report and my phone, I was told that [ The phone is fine and the problem cannot be repeated ], but the problem still exists on the phone. I hope a Samsung staff member can help me.

Well, members in Samsung Community China might found the reason. When the phone overheats, the OLED can undergo layer changes due to improper heat dissipation. This change is irreversible and can only be solved by replacing the screen. That's how I solved.

Hello there, so my note 20 happened to show this screen issue today. Has there been a resolution to this issue. Clearly it's a defect with the phone

My Note20Ultra just did this yesterday as well. New Zealand user. No heat or impact was applied. It spent the morning in my pocket as usual but when I got home it was there.

Hi @Jdizzle, I am sorry to hear that. In this case the best suggestion would be to visit your local Samsung store for a closer assessment to confirm.

Just got this issue this morning. I have this phone since January 2021, so the good news is that it is still covered by warranty until 01.23.

On the other hand, my almost 4 years S10+ is still going strong with no f***in problems.

I strongly consider that the S10 series was the last time Samsung did it right. That camera takes better low light and close up photos that my Note 20 Ultra.

I was pretty bummed since my first week of owning it, but I thought these are a new era of phones and I should get used to them... I'm still trying!

Same thing happened to me on my Note 20 ultra when I updated my phone to UI 5 and Android 13 few days ago. At first I thought it was some sort of new feature but when I put my phone to charge I noticed the brighter area turning up when the phone showed the charging status. What is the most saddest thing about this is that I've get my phone in mint condition and then this happens. I would had understood if some sort of impact had happened but this came right after updating my phone. This is comical that my note8 is still working fine so I sold it to a friend of mine as I never imagined Samsung's hardware could break down like this. So is this only going to get worse if not treated? I'm asking since I bought my phone in 2020 so the warranty is probably void at this point
