Samsung notes would have to be the worst app available, the S6 edge plus had Memo and if you wrote something it would automatically save it, I wrote a song today and I was changing the title, and my whole song bar the title disappeared, so now I've lost it for ever, Samsung fix this dumb app, surely with Ai these days you could get it right.

If that's the latest available version for your phone and you always encounter that issue, I agree with others here that you might need to use another app for now until samsung fixed it. Or maybe avoid the steps that causing that issue.

Edit: Not the phone kernel version. What's the Note app version installed on your phone?
