Just now no sound came through when a messenger message received.  Yesterday no sound when text received.  Anyone experiencing s21 notification intermittent issues? Have lodged a member error report each time the issue happens and no one is resolving the issue ongoing since purchase July 2021. Samsung not offering a resolution.  Sound is up. Nothing is disabled.  Frustrated with the lack of customer assistance and nil resolution.

Good afternoon channel01,

I can see that your error report is currently pending with our research and development team. Our team will be in touch via the Members app once this as been analysed.

It was also advised in an earlier error report that you restart your device due to 3rd party apps affecting the notification sounds. Have you tried this?

Yes so I'll just continuing switching on my ph on and off every min just in case? Same apps on previous ph and no issues explain that?

Maybe change your notifications tone?
Might work. In settings, sounds and vibrations.

@channel01 I believe @SamsungLaura is asking that question as it would appear you may not have replied to the message sent to you from the team that reviews error logs.

Was your previous phone on Android 12? If not, perhaps this is why you're now having an issue as the 3rd party apps may not have been updated.

I understand that Samsung messenger is being replaced in the US with Google messenger being nominated as its replacement. So, disable Samsung Messenger under apps and install another messenger app of your choice. I did this after a related problem not receiving messages, especially after a change of ISPs, this .solved my problem. Probably not a solution but also check your APN settings (Google APN settings, write down existing APN settings before you start) I recently found my settings were not those CURRENTLY recommended.
