One UI 7 wifi issue

After installing one UI 7.0. I have had a lot of issues with slow wifi, whether that be loading browser pages, apps, in game loading connecting to servers etc, download updates for smart devices. It has all failed or not working at all. Unless I use my data. I have reset my network settings and my router etc all the obvious stuff. Definitely an issue only when I use my wifi which has never happened before.

My daughter switched nbn provider recently and since then each device connected to their wifi has had the issue you described - slow loading of browser pages and apps. The weird thing is their wi-fi speedtest result is ok. Setting the Private DNS to automatic or off seems to have fixed the issue. Thought I'd share in case this works for you too.

I have had the same provider for a while but I'll try turn DNS off and see if that works. Thanks man

It doesnt work. proxy. if its work related phone, good luck getting IT team letting you into server.... depending what you do for work... No matter what, ever since UI 7.0... myself, i want to downgrade and uninstall this patch.. will find a way when plugged in. i've noticed with 7.0 they removed the option to disable automatic updates. thats cool.... best of luck.

home use, I am going to try above posters' method. Home is ATT fiber.

huge wifi problems with one UI 7 on Samsung galaxy s24 ultra SM-S928B. the arrows disappeared. catastrophic RX/TX speed dropping randomly and frequently especially when i connect a vpn server via nordvpn app. i don't think it's related to the app. works fine on one ui 5. i hope Samsung takes these issues seriously and fix them

I have similar issues on S23 ultra (SM-S918B) It was all fine on UI5 and in the mid-releases of UI6 but after this March the phone is completely useless on WiFi. It keeps dropping the connection and connects again in a couple of seconds.

I got told by them it's been passed onto the correct team to look into and they will get in touch once they know anything

i recently upgraded too and my wifi has been slow and annoying unless i use my mobile data. i also dont like the layout.

I use Nova launcher maybe try that or another launcher

I have found the fix, I have to disable igmp snooping. It must be due to some new security method in the new update not sure. But disable it on your router and it should work.
