Hi,

My S22 Ultra started cycling between 2g, 4g, 5g a few weeks ago constantly. I was unable to get a stable connection.

That issue has resolved itself. The problem I'm having relates to 5g. I get 5g in my area, when my phone was new I was getting up to 500mbps.

At the moment I'm lucky to get 200mbps. So the phone is not running optimally.

I've tried resetting network settings and have reflashed the entire OS twice.

Any advice appreciated

Have you tried contacting your carrier to see if they have been doing maintenance/upgrades in your area?

I've had some issues due to Optus doing work in my area recently.

Yes they said there was no current maintenance/upgrades and their network was running fine.

You said you have flashed the firmware twice, did you do a full flash using the CSC file, or did you use Home_CSC file?
Also, did you flash the Australian rom (XSA etc) or one from another region?

I'd also suggest sending an error report via the Samsung Members app.

Samsung Members app > Get help > Error reports > Application > Describe issue and frequency > Tick ‘Send system log data’ > ‘Send’ in top right.

I flashed using home CSC, using VAU rom, it's hard to get an error report as there is no error as such

@Ryan1983 So you're a Voda customer?
I still wonder if it's their network.

I grabbed a Voda prepaid sim today, from their EOFY deal ($14) to try out their network, my current and long term carrier is Optus.

The closest tower to me is a shared site by both carriers and approx 110m away.

Here's the speed test results, the voda sim in my Fold3 and Optus in my S22U.

You can see both services had full reception and both were tested at the same time.Screenshot_20220625-213219_Speedtest_2797_1656156759.pngScreenshot_20220625-213218_Speedtest.png

That's a big difference, I was with optus but swapped to Vodafone because I couldn't get my galaxy watch 4 to work on their network.

I'm kinda stuck now, unless I pay out my phone.

Perhaps Voda is just behind in their rollout compared to Optus & Telstra.
Really not sure.

Both devices are showing very similar signal strength, which is expected since it's a shared site.
And they're both on NSA 5G.

Edit: and yes Optus isn't great with connecting the Watch4 to number share 😕 Screenshot_20220625-215100_Settings_2799_1656157936.pngScreenshot_20220625-215102_Settings.png

When you do a speedtest, are you manually selecting the closest Voda server, or letting the app automatically choose the test server?
