Galaxy SI just experience out of nowhere this vertical line suddenly appeared half the screen after I update my Samsung yesterday Aug. 30, 2024. My phone was only like stand by mode since yesterday because I am busy doing choirs and playing console game (PS5). I seldom used the phone until today. I just noticed it suddenly appeared out of nowhere when I just check some sms msg. Clearly its not a dead pixel because i power of the phone and it disappeared. Then it start to come back after a few seconds. DEAD PIXELS DONT COME OUT AFTER SHUTTING DOWN AND WHEN TURNED ON, IT GRADUALLYS COMES OUT SLOWLY. I AM STARTING TO NOT TRUST ANY SAMSUNG PRODUCT. I AM PLANNING TO GIVE MY SAMSUNG GALAXY S21 TO MY SON SINCE I AM PLANNING TO BUY A NEW SAMSUNG FLIP. BUT AFTER THIS INCIDENT. NO MORE SAMSUNG PRODUCT FOR ME. FIX THIS ISSUE AND RELEASE A NEW UPDATE TO FIX THIS ISSUE SAMSUNG!!!! I SENSE SAMSUNG IS BECOMING CHEATERS JUST TO HAVE YOUR PHONE FIX BECAUSE OF YOUR OS UPDATE.

I don't get it, how can be my phone just suddenly have this line after the update. I never use this phone for gaming because I play games on my consoles PS5 and Nintendo Switch. I only used it for listening music mp3 and taking pictures/videos. My phone never fell on the ground, it has spigen casing + screen protector and well protected since day 1.
This is NOT REALLY NICE SAMSUNG. I bought my S21 Ultra when it first come out in our region for almost Php 70,000 ($1,250 if $1 is equal to 56pesos that time) because I am so excited about the camera feature 108MP and it will just get broken because of your OS update :(
My iPhone 6S plus which I also bought it on its 1st day released on our region (maybe around Php 56,100). It is still perfectly working with no problem or physcial problem while my S21 Ultra just got a line problem after updating to your official OS | One UI. It is really frustrating and it makes me mad right now. I feel I got CHEATED by SAMSUNG.
Good thing I haven't gave my S21 Ultra to my son yet, or else he might get mad at me. Which will probably lead to a father and son arguement, telling him my S21 Ultra was well taken care and I might even suspect him breaking my phone or dropping my phone. Also good thing that I have NOT YET PURCHASED THE NEW SAMSUNG FLIP (Z Fold 6 - Php 105,990). I was planning to buy that phone. But after experiencing this problem. I will just go back to apple instead.
Samsung you just LOST a valuable customer. To those who are planning to buy Samsung EXPENSIVE phone, maybe you should think twice/thrice before buying it.

Galaxy SThank you so much for the information. I really appreciate your support especially right now, I am feeling a little bit depress on what just happened to my phone.
Can I request if you can post the two samsung links on your screenshot? Maybe there are some tips or way to troubleshoot it.
I will also go to Samsung shop where I bought my phone tomorrow.

Galaxy SJust a quick update. I went to the Samsung store to report this issue to them. They said that they cannot help me because my warranty is already expired. They instructed me to call or send a message to Samsung Customer Support. While I was complaining about this issue, another female customer heard me complaining, and she had the same issue with mine. She experienced the same line issue that suddenly appeared. She had it checked on another PC repair shop, but I told her that it was the Samsung OS update that made the line issue yesterday (the same day I had mine).
After hearing that another customer had the same issue as mine on the same day (August 31, 2024), THIS CONCLUDES THAT SAMSUNG ARE INDEED CHEATERS, EVEN HOW CAREFUL OR PROTECTIVE YOU ARE WITH YOUR DEVICE. 1 DAY IT WILL HAVE A PROBLEM BECAUSE THEY WILL SEND AN OS UPDATE THAT WILL MAKE YOUR DEVICE BREAK AND IT IS ALREADY OUT OF WARRANTY COVERAGE. IMAGINE YOUR DEVICE HAS A DEATH SENTENCE AFTER 3 YEARS SINCE MY S21 ULTRA WAS PURCHASED AND ALSO RELEASED IN 2021. My iPhone 6S+, WHICH I BOUGHT LAST 2016 AND IPHONE 4S BOUGHT LAST 2011, IS STILL RUNNING SMOOTHLY WITH NO PROBLEM.
LESSON LEARNED: DO NOT BUY ANYMORE SAMSUNG PRODUCTS. THEY ARE CHEATERS.
