I have seen many review on battery charging comparison between 25W vs 45W charger but none seem to provide wattage readings.
I got a new cable with wattage reading. My first review is as follows.
I am using a Samsung trio charger with 15w usb a, 25w usb c and 65w usb c.
My cable is a 2m 100w with a wattage reader essager brand.
Phone was not at 0 but was at 17% when I started the test.
Cable plug into 65w output to get full measurement the phone can take.
Phone was set for super fast charging because fast charging will now work on usb c output.
Quick note, super fast charging will trigger at 25w output and super fast charging 2.0 will trigger at 65w output.
From 20% - 56% wattage is between 28w to 30w. No record of it showing pass 30. Meaning phone may not take more than that unless it is less than 15%? Will do another take if I see enough response from this post. So like if you like to see further post on this.
From 56% - 89% wattage is constant at 20w.
From 89% - 99% wattage reading goes down from 17% - 8% respectively.
At 100% after 1min reading remains at 7w.
I think that is why there is no difference between 25w charger and 45w charger because limit seems to be at 30w.
Highest temperature recorded during super fast charging was 38.7 °C.

Thanks for posting. Great info. Still waiting for my 65w charger to arrive - 5 weeks now.

It is similar to a test i did a couple of years ago when I had a S20U and the high speed adapter, it was only marginally faster than the regular one, not worth the extra cost.

Galaxy SHi @FKnight, thanks for sharing your findings.
As a note, the device also limits the charging speed when it is closer to 100% to prevent the device overheating.

Yes. That i am aware. This measurement is to show why there is no difference on your fast charging due to the limit cap at 30w and not 45w. So your 45w charger is not recommended for now
