S24 constant facebook crashes

Very disappointed with my s24 phone purchased only 4 weeks ago. Facebook app constantly stops working after being open a  little while.  

Refreshing does not work . The only thing that works is  to close app and re-open.  Facebook is the only app this is happening with.

I have visited lots of forums about the issue and tried everything people suggest and no luck fixing this. I have uninstalled fb , reinstalled it , updated, cleared cache, restarted phone,  etc.

It is infuriating to have to keep closing app and reopening it and  especially losing text  that I had started typing in or photos  I had been uploading..  My previous Samsung s20 had none of these problems.

Any help/advice would be much appreciated

I did see this online as well , if it's the only app It's likely a bug, I also did see a. I know you did this already but try it again with one small variation. Remove all and clear all data reboot phone and install after reboot. The only other work around I saw was using apk of old version which is a risk. Does it crash when using via browser on phone ? Let us know how you go. Not fun.. also try a different keyword if you happen to be using non stock just to see

Thanks for your advice - have done as you suggested  i.e. Removed all and cleared all data rebooted phone and re- installed FB after reboot but problem persists. I also tried using facebook on browser on the phone and it works just fine. 

FB app however after a period of time will  stop showing pics and data - just the empty interface - and refreshes don't work. Close app and reopen and it's  fine for a time then happens again.

I think a possible fix is to device care and change the profile to standard

If you haven't done this when clearing the Facebook cache also clear the cache for "Google Play services". At this stage do not clear the cache called "Google Play services for AR" as I think it needs to be installed.. I have read that Google Play services re-establishes itself and I have never had a problem with it. If successful please tell us.

Another thing to thinh about, since Facebook opens correctly, is whether apps used by Facebook are causing the problem. So consider whether Messenger is the problem. Also if you are not having photos backed up to One Drive, or Google Drive etc. then do so and see if any problem occurs then. This would imply that Gallery is the problem but if so backup or copy to a usb making sure copying works.

Thanks for this additional suggestion - have tried leaving messenger closed and fb still does the same thing  unfortunatel i.e. stops showing pics and data  after it's been open a while -  shows just the empty interface - and refreshes don't work.

Not sure  how to check if Gallery is the problem - I do  auto back up to Google drive 

Looked at the video  link you sent also , thanks,  and I went through those steps - still problem persists.

Thanks  for this advice - tried clearing the Google Play services cache and still no fix unfortunately

Just to be clear, Facebook cache and Google Play service cache need to be cleareed at the same time.

Hi 

I have had this issue since the last update was fine before then 

Only way to temp fix is reboot phone but then after a while reverts to not loading pictures or comments 

Before this update to one ui it was fine poss a new update will fix it
