I ran an automatic check via the Samsung Members app and found that my battery needed replacing. So I went to one of Samsung's service centers and had the battery replaced with a new original one. Immediately after replacing the battery, I ran the automatic check again thru the Samsung Members app. To my surprise, I received the same message, which is that I need to have the battery replaced because it is already weak. The customer service rep and technician that assisted me instructed that I observe the behavior of my new battery and run another automatic check after a few days. That was 2 days ago. I just ran the automatic check and I'm still getting the same message. Can someone please advise me on what I should do now because both the customer service rep and the technician doesn't seem to know what to do either? Thanks in advance!

Hey, JP! Amazing day! Sorry for whatever inconvenience that may have caused you. :( You may do this step should you wish to check your battery's diagnostics:

Just open phone dailer app
Then type *#0228# this will tell you about your battery status and its wear off levels.
If your battery level states 0 to 8 block then your battery is doing fine.
If your battery level is 0 to 7 or lower then your battery is doing bad and you need to change the battery of your device.

Hope this helps.

That may just be a result of the diagnostic check you did with the Members App. I suggest to initially observe your battery as I mentioned here and if upon finding out that your battery is good, then there's no need to rush to your nearest service center. But if you've observed that your battery's life span is going nuts, then that's the time we suggest to bring it to a service center. Also, stay tuned here on our Members Community App for our "RIGHT CARE DAY" every 1st Saturday of the month to avail exclusive deals and discounts on services with your device. Thanks! As per your instruction, I conducted the test and here's the result. Can you please confirm that my battery is healthy? If so, why does the automatic diagnostic check via the Samsung Members app keep stating that I need to have the battery replaced?

Hey, JP! You're battery's all good. 😊 As with the erroneous message by the Samsung Members app, it MAYBE caused by a system glitch. You may want to check if there's an update available. If there's no update available yet, we humbly request your patience and we'll raise this issue to concerned departments. Thank you and stay safe. 🙂

Nonetheless, the simplest way we also would suggest is by monitoring by how long your battery life could last (do at least 1 FULL CHARGE [wifi turned off, no heavy apps running], then use it LIGHTLY throughout the day and see if your charge will last up to 1 day or slightly longer). Though please do note that if your life span doesn't last for more than a day, it does not mean that your battery is already in bad shape. Cellphone batteries needs to be replaced if 1 charge life spans less than half a day or if your observable battery discharge goes way faster than it should. 😊

I am also facing the same problem.

I done the test and the result is as in the following picture.

Do I need to change the battery?

@TeamGalaxyMark Thanks! I just checked and my Samsung Members app is up-to-date. Yeah, I think the issue does need to be raised to the developers.

By the way, I also received this notification earlier today. Should I still go back to the service center or just trust the result of the battery check, which you suggested? 🙂
