My 2 month old frame TV's remote will not charge via plug in or solar. We luckily set up a phone to be a remote. Any ideas?

Hi,

I’m having the same issue with The Frame remote not charging or holding charge.   

TV was purchased in November last year and I am currently using the Smart Things Remote Control to operate the TV.

Is there a solution to this issue or do I need to send an email to @SamsungClaudette?

I am having the same problem, the remote runs out of battery.  I am conveniently 1 month past my warranty... looks like they made the perfect remote ;/

I can see that lots of people are having the same issue as me, whereby my SAMSUNG BN59-01391B Solar Cell Remote (White) for my Frame 2022 TV has not held charge properly from day 1.   Can you please help out Claudette?  Note I have also sent an email into members.au@samsung.com.au already with the details you suggest everyone else to complete, proactively.

I am having the same problem with my 4 month old frame TV, remote won't charge, no troubleshooting steps help at all, its just dead... How do I now use this expensive TV?

So mine also failed within a few months, which is terrible as its a common issue. Unless you have registered with smarthings application you can't use the TV until you get a new remote for around $130. Samsung may provide one free of charge if within warranty, but it will take 14 business days to get to you if you are lucky. For a very expensive TV this is a major design flaw and Samsung should do the right thing and replace the remote free of charge proactively and update so no more issues, otherwise the TV is basically useless.
