Samsung Soundbar N650 no display

Can anyone help.

My Samsung N650 soundbar. The display has stopped working, the soundbar still works and is connected to my TV and the subwoofer. The remote works but no display on the soundbar?

Hi @Matxchurcher, that's strange.  I suggest trying a cold reboot of both your soundbar and TV by powering off and unplugging both devices for approximately 1 minute. After this, reconnect and power on both devices to see if this helped sync up the sound with the display. 

Let me know how you go.

Thank you for clarifying. The cold reboot mentioned above completely depowers the soundbar, which can help reset the display if it is being kept off due to a firmware glitch. 

However, if the issue continues to persist, it may be linked to other hardware factors such as a faulty display, poor Bluetooth connection, poor cable connection, or it requires a firmware update.

You can download the update, and find a step by step guide on How-To update from the website below: 

https://www.samsung.com/au/support/model/HW-N650/XY/

 

Go to Upgrade file and download to a USB before following the update steps. 

Go to Manuals & Downloads > User Manual > Page 33/38 to find the steps.

I was told the same. I have downloaded the update file but how am I suppose to update if the freaking display not working? I have the exact same problem btw.

I wonder if you solved this. I have exact same issue that happened a month before and still same issue. You are the only hope I have, hope you will see and reply because support couldn't solve it.
