I bought a 55" Frame TV (2021) yesterday and spent the entire day trying to figure out why Samsung would make the app interface and uploading my own photos so difficult... and then the frustration of trying to view a slideshow of different art pieces
Is there a way to display a slideshow of art with a default mount. Surely this should be one of the most basic options for someone who wants to use the TV as an art piece, which is kind of the point of this TV??? Each time I start a slideshow, the first image shows my preferred mount but then it defaults back to no mount for the remaining pieces - how hard can it be to provide a customer with this option if you're going to market this TV as a virtual art gallery?
And the annoying ads... whats up with that!!?? I didn't just spend $1,995 on a TV to be bombarded with a load of advertisements on your menu bar!!?? Is there a way to turn this off?
Hi @PaulO03, are you referring to the custom layouts? There is a guide on how to set up custom layouts for the individual photos which I have linked below for your convenience.

Hi there. Jumping onto this thread as I have spent today getting my new 2021 Frame 55" out of the box and working as well as signing up for the Art Store.
My wife and I would also like to set a default mount for Art Mode (which is of course what we bought the TV for) - as the effect is so much more convincing when the pictures are displayed with the mount that full screen.
Please let me know when you hear back about setting either a default mount style for all pictures on the Art Store, or for a slideshow. Either would achieve the desired effect.
- Please note Art Mode works only to display static images and does not support videos and slideshows. However, your interest has not gone unnoticed and will be passed on internally to our team.
We are very pleased with the option within Art Mode (having signed up for the Art Store Membership) to change the picture from the selection from a particular gallery at a variable interval, and it seems to be a very natural extension of this facility that the pictures all be displayed with a selectable default mount. Certainly having done some internet browsing around the subject it seems to be a popular request!
Let us hope that it is possible for your team to achieve via an update - thereby delighting many existing owners :)
Hi Laura I would like to second the sentiment shared by other users, just bought 55", I find it hard to believe that a device designed to show mounted art using a subscription to an art service does not offer the option to select a mount for the subscribed art (without selecting an individual piece manually.. a task that loses novelty after the very first time). Any update on this appreciated.
Just echoing here if makes any difference. Just got a 43inch frame and just absurd that you can’t change the default mount away from it using the worst one (shadowbox)
Just bought an 85 inch Frame to double up as art (with mount) and thought the mount default option would be somewhere. Well I guess I was wrong and spend upwards of $4k on something not quite there.
Find that you have to set mount options every time per art. It's pretty cumbersome if you have to 1. choose the mount you want and 2. set the colour for said mount for every art work.
Surely the Samsung devs can come up with this update soon. Honestly find it a waste of money if we can only set it for one artwork & then update constantly. The less hassles in terms of configuration by users the better.
Hoping someone listens up in HQ/dev land and implements this as an firmware update, you'd be a godsend to people who spend $$$ on Samsung gear.
