My buds pro sound great in ANC but sound terrible in ambient sound or off. Does anyone.else have this issue?

Hi @Deak79, can you describe the sound quality when ambient sound is on (i.e. echoing, static, etc)?

 

You can adjust ambient sound to 4 levels to suit your preference. See here for how to do so: https://www.samsung.com/au/support/mobile-devices/using-ambient-sound-on-buds-pro/

The music is quite tinny and bassless. When I have ANC on it is really good sounding.

I would recommend also checking your sound settings. To do this, go into your Settings app > Sounds and vibration > Sound quality and effects > Equaliser or Adapt sound. This will allow you to adjust your sound to the best for your needs.

 

If you believe that this could be a fault with your Buds Pro, I would recommend sending and error report. To do this:

- Go to Galaxy Wearables app > click on the device desired on the side menu. Then tap Contact us > Error reports (in the Get help section).

- Fill in details and the frequency of the issue that you have with the wearable. Click send.

I have the Adaptive sound set to my age. The sound stage changes when ANC is not on.
