HELP - UN55MU6500FXZC Turns on and off by itself

Tv is less than a year old.  TV will turn on (the blacklight comes on) and then turns off.  It will just cycle through like that.

I've unplugged the tv for an hour and still same thing when plugged back in.  As soon as I plug it back in, it keeps doing the same cycle.

Any help would be appreciated.

"Can you please remove the power to the TV (so unplug it from the power socket).
Then on the actual TV, hold the power button for 60 seconds then release.
Then wait 10 minutes, connect the power again to the TV, turn it on and tell me please if it is now operating correctly. "

might be a different issue, but should force a hard reset just the same
