I had to purchase a new TV after my 7 year old Samsung 55 inch just went DARK. I have been told it seems to be a common problem with all new flat screen TVs.  One of the control boards just goes bad. So I purchased a new Samsung UHD8000 TV, the picture and the sound are much better that the old one but I have one problem.

I have a hearing problem so I listen to the TV with either my hearing aids or with headphones. These two devices are connected to a Bell Canada Sat receiver which then is connected to the New TV with a HDMI cable.  I now have a slight audio delay between the TV and the Sat Receiver. I hear the sound before the TV speakers broadcast it. This did not happen with the old TV.

I have played with the Audio controls with no luck.

Anyone have any ideas?

Hi ND2,

Please try the below steps to adjust the Audio Delay Settings.
1. Press the Home button on your TV remote control and then select Settings.
2. Navigate to Sound and select Expert Settings from the center menu list.
3. Select Audio Delay and press Enter. You will now be able to select a value between 0 - 300ms until the delay between picture and sound is resolved.

Hi Rebekka,

I did that several times. It does not solve the issue.
