Please try to reboot the device and check. Sometimes a simple reboot will fix the issues.
Also, try to remove and re-add the Direct Dial Widget and check.
Follow the below steps:
To delete a widget, tap and hold on it >> Tap Remove from Home.
To Add again, Tap and hold on a blank area of the home screen>> Tap Widgets >> Swipe left to scroll through the available widgets >> Tap a folder to view the widgets inside it >> Tap and hold on the widget you would like to add(Direct Dial Widget) >> Position it on the home screen and then lift your finger (Then select the contact to Direct Call)>> Tap the screen to confirm the position of the widget >> To move the widget to a new screen, tap and hold on it >> Drag it to the edge of the screen and wait for the screen to change >> Position the widget and then lift your finger >> Tap the screen to place the widget.
