Galaxy AHi henrywindsor,
We are sorry to hear that your Samsung device experiencing a delay in indexing or displaying newly downloaded photos in the Gallery app after the update.
Steps to Fix the Issue:
Clear Cache for the Gallery App Go to Settings > Apps > Gallery. Tap on Storage > Clear Cache. Avoid clearing data unless absolutely necessary, as it might reset app settings.
Manually Refresh the Gallery: Open the Gallery app. Swipe down or look for a "Refresh" option to force the app to re-index the photos.
Boot your phone into Safe Mode to check if a third-party app is interfering.
To enter Safe Mode:
- Hold the Power button.
- Long-press the Power Off option until you see "Safe Mode."
- Tap to restart in Safe Mode.
If photos display instantly in Safe Mode, a third-party app might be causing the issue.
As a last resort, back up your data and reset settings to default.

Galaxy AHi henrywindsor,
That's great! It sounds like a temporary glitch was resolved. If the issue reoccurs, consider clearing the cache of both the Gallery and the Bird Buddy app through Settings > Apps. Glad it's working now!
Thank you.
