Hearing Aids and A31 - I have a Samsung A31 with Android version 12, my hearing aids are picked up but do not connect.

So the Scan sets them as a device but does not allow connection. Any ideas on having them connect for phone calls please?

Hi, we are sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. Please follow the below steps to pair the hearing aids and check:

If you are unable to connect then make sure the Bluetooth device is within the range and in the pairing mode.

Go to Settings >> Connections >> Phone visibility >> Activate it.
When connecting it, make sure the hearing aids are within 5-10 feet of each other to get a better experience.

If it didn't work then perform clear cache and clear data for the Bluetooth:

Open Settings >> Tap Apps >> Tap the More settings icon (three-dot icon, upper right) >> Tap Show system apps >> Find and tap the Bluetooth app >> Tap Storage >> Tap Clear cache button and Clear Data Button.

Note: Clearing the data will reset the app to factory default settings. Any personal settings saved on the app will be removed.

If the issue persists then you can Reset Network Settings:

Go to Settings >> General Management >>Reset >> Reset Network Settings >> Reset settings.

This will reset all network settings, including those for Wi-Fi, Mobile Data, Bluetooth.

Thank you Helenna, however the fix did not work for my Samsung A31 the hearing aids pair but do not connect. Using the Specsavers "My remote" app for a pair of "Advance" hearing aids.

Could it be the third party app preventing the connect to the phone? The phone sees the 2 hearing aids
