Galaxy A52s & Co MTP File transfer not working - Old issue never solved

It seems that world wide no one has ever really found a solution for this problem.

Here it goes again. I tried all suggestions; none worked. We have three phones. S24, A33s and A52s. The first 2 will connect to PC for file transfer, the A52 is not connecting.

I do not wish to use windows link, or any other such absurd solutions. Cloud? Forget it.

So Samsung should have told us all by now, as this is at least a 4 year old issue, what the real problem is. I had a recent Update to the A52, but so did I for the others.

I need to transfer files other media to my PC and Vice versa.

So I ask what is the correct solution. Please do not waste time going through the Explanations on how to reset USB Config or Phone itself, or change cables etc. All those suggestion have all been wasted.

While many users resolve this through standard troubleshooting (e.g., resetting USB preferences, switching cables/ports, updating drivers), we recognize you’ve already exhausted those options.

Here are a few less conventional but often overlooked steps that may help:

Developer Options. Disable USB Audio Routing. Sometimes, USB Audio Routing conflicts with MTP: Go to Settings > About phone > Software information > Tap Build number 7 times to enable Developer Options.

Now go to Settings > Developer options. Scroll down and disable “Disable USB audio routing.” Reconnect the phone to your PC.

USB Mode Confirmation. Even after choosing "File Transfer", some A52s units don’t retain this selection: After connecting, pull down the notification panel, tap the USB notification, and reselect File Transfer/MTP, even if it already looks selected.

If none of the above work, you may want to request a diagnostic log via the Samsung Members app so our software team can take a closer look.
