How to show type of connection ex: 4g,3g,h+,...etc on status bar?

As the address indicate, I want a way to show my connection classification next to the tower icon of the coverage of the carrier, as in Honor devices.

While you on [wifi] you can not recognize what the data really is? Is it 3g or 4g or H+ or even 5g?

And also you may be out of coverage at all!!!!!!! While the tower icon is full!!! It demand you get status bar down to see the nice news [EMERGENCY CALLS ONLY] While you was thought you are on coverage!!!

Any way to get rid emergency calls only icon? Or any way to show type of carrier coverage?

short answer: you can't w/o actually turn on your mobile data

well to make sure you are connected to your desired connection: check setting > connection > mobile networks, make sure you pick your desired ones such as LTE if you want 4G+ or pick 5G if you are sure you have 5G coverage around you

personally i choose LTE as my maximum connection because in my area there's no 5G yet, also 4G+ already more than enough for daily basis

unfortunately there's no such feature on Samsung Galaxy like your Honor phone

i am not sure about emergency calls only icon, never appear on my end
