Galaxy AGreetings,
Ever since I updated my software to One UI 6/Android 14 on my Galaxy A52s, my Always On Display has been laggy. When I tap to show AOD, the clock and fingerprint show up in a laggy manner, this has never happened before. Also, when I double tap to show my lock screen or when I press the lock screen button, it doesn't show up instantly like it used to, instead, it takes a couple of seconds longer to show up and sometimes it behaves in a very laggy manner. Again, I haven't had any issues with my lock screen or my AOD before, this started happening immediately after I updated to One UI 6. I tried everything (restarting in safe mode, disabling AOD/lock screen and enabling them again...) but nothing seems to work, so this is definitely a software issue. Installing the December security patch didn't help with the issue either. My phone storage is far from full so it's not responsible for the issue. This has been so annoying I just disabled AOD and lockscreen altogether, so now anyone can access my phone since it's no longer secure. It's a drastic measure I had to take because I've been so annoyed with the way my AOD/lock screen have been behaving.
Would you please fix this issue? I'm honestly tired of software updates fixing some things while ruining other things that used to work flawlessly.
Best regards.

Galaxy AWhile I'm at it, I should also mention that the default phone call app has also been a bit laggy so I just installed the Google Phone app and now I use it as the default app to make/receive phone calls (for the time being at least).

Galaxy AThat solved nothing, but I'm not surprised (it never solved any issue for me before). It seems I either need to wait for the January update or wait for Samsung to update the AOD app and the lockscreen app. Hopefully I won't have to wait until the release of One UI 6.1 because now I'm very worried it might mess up other things.
