Can I transfer photos ( Google Photos) from a external hard drive to my Galaxy A 5?

If so how, keep it simple and easy for me.

Please follow the below steps.

-Connect your hard drive to your computer.
-Connect your smartphone to your computer using the USB cable.
-If asked to Allow access to phone data, then tap Allow to accept.
-Tap for other USB options and Tap an option that allows Transferring files or Transferring images.
-Now that your smartphone and hard drive have a transfer connection and they will appear on your PC as an available drive.
-Now you can transfer files from your hard drive to your mobile device.
