Galaxy AIn One UI 7, Samsung has not removed the Smart Select feature from the Edge Panel, but its location and access method have changed.
Previously available as a separate panel, Smart Select is now integrated into the Apps panel within the Edge Panel. To access it, swipe in from the edge of the screen to open the Edge Panel, tap the settings icon (which appears briefly), select the Apps panel, and then tap 'Edit' to manage the tools displayed.
If Smart Select isn't visible, ensure that the Edge Panels feature is enabled via Settings > Display > Edge Panels. Additionally, updating the Samsung Capture app through the Galaxy Store may be necessary to restore full functionality.
If you’re pleased with my answer, please tap the three vertical dots at the top right of this comment and select “Accept as solution.” ✅️
Hope this helps, may God bless you! 😇

Galaxy AIf it’s missing, try downloading it from the Galaxy Store or re-enabling it. You can also clear data for the Edge screen app in Settings > Apps > Show system apps > Edge screen > Storage > Clear data, then restart your phone.
If it still doesn’t appear, report the issue via the Samsung Members app under Support > Error reports with details and screenshots.
