Could you please confirm your device model? Also, have you checked if the Weather app is updated to the latest version from the Galaxy Store?
Sometimes notification settings get reset after an update, so it’s also worth checking under Settings → Notifications → Weather to ensure the ongoing notification toggle is still enabled.
My device model is a Galaxy A34, and the app is on version 1.7.03.10, which I guess is the latest version since I haven't seen new updates for it. I attached three screenshots to show you how it looks like on my end. Hope you can find a solution!
Thanks for sharing the details. Please ensure that Weather app notifications are enabled (Settings → Apps → Weather → Notifications) and that background activity isn’t restricted in Battery settings.
You can also try force stopping the app and reopening it, or rebooting your device. If the issue persists, removing and re-adding the widget often restores the ongoing notification.
In the screenshots it shows that all the notifications are enabled and also the battery settings for it is set to Unrestricted so it'll always run in the background. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled the app a few times and nothing changed. The ongoing notification option isn't in the app anymore. I only get notifications for weather condition updates that's it
