I need help please, I'm losing my mind!

My daughter's A12 will not connect to our WiFi. My S20 connects and so do other devices, but we keep getting a message saying 'Connected without internet' under the network name. I've reset our router, reset all settings on her phone, spent the night all over the web trying to find a solution but I'm at a loss. Any help would be so appreciated!

Does she have private dns on?
Change the Mac address to Random or Phone Mac. (Go to settings, wifi, and on the 'connected' wifi, click on the settings wheel, click on view more and change the Mac address)

i had the same issue with my zflip4. what finally worked for me after hours of trying different things:
1. settings
2. connections
3. more connection settings
4. private dns:
5. change it from “private dns provider hostname (my name used to be “dns.google”)” to “automatic”
i then tried reconnecting to the wifi and lo and behold it worked!

i hope this works for you?

I assume you have already reset the network settings (Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset network settings).

Have you checked if the phone's date is outdated? Try setting the phone date as automatic, select "Automatic date and time" in General Management > Date and time.

Hello, thank you so much for replying. I have tried to reset network settings, but the same message comes  up when I attempt to reconnect to wifi after that.

When I try to update the date and time, I get a message saying 'Action not allowed' and to contact administrator. I assume this has something to do with it being my child's phone, but I have no idea how to override that via the Family Link app.

Hi @Laurel2, that's odd. You mentioned resetting the phone, as that didn't work, I suggest sending an error report within 2-3 minutes of the issue occurring for this to be investigated by our research and development team. Error reports assist with identifying any deviations in your device performance. Once analysed, our team will get back to you with a response to advise further steps.

To send an error report:
Samsung Members app > Get help > Error reports > select issue category > Describe issue and frequency > Tick ‘Send system log data’ > ‘Send’ in top right.
