Galaxy BooksHi everybody,
I recently ordered a Galaxy Book Ion 15.6" (product code: NP950XCJ-K02CA) and I'm planning to add an extra 8GB of memory into the dedicated DDR4 slot.
I already know that memory type is DDR4 - SODIMM and memory speed is 2666Mhz CL19.
Would you recommend a specific model of memory stick or would you have more detailed specs?
But I've found several models with those specs in the Samsung brand (as well as in other brands) and don't know which one to choose.
Thank you for your help and happy new year! :)

Galaxy BooksThanks you for your reply. Actually the 15 inch version does have an additional slot for memory upgrade, while the 13 inch only has the motherboard memory than can't be upgraded.
This video shows how to add a memory stick: https://youtu.be/BzFCcRmv7PY
(The authors gives the reference of the memory he bought, however I read on Reddit that a 2666Mhz is preferred to match the original motherboard memory speed.)
Here's the specs on the product page:

Galaxy BooksHello, I'm updating this thread in case other people come here and look for the same info.
I don't whether it's true or not, but I read that Samsung doesn't sell memory stick directly to consumers (while they sell SSDs for example). So all Samsung RAM you find on the well-known B2C marketplace websites would be rebranded memory, i.e. no-name memory sticks with a "Samsung" label applied on it.
This may explain why I found different references with the same specs.
So I bought my DDR4 sticks from one of the other reputable brands (the ones that produce memory chips themselves), following the specs I mentioned above.
