I just got my book4 ultra i7 3 days ago. Both usb-c ports where charging and displaying to my Samsung M8 monitor. Yesterday, I used the laptop until it entered energy savings mode. Then I went to charge it. All of a sudden, one of the usb-c ports stopped working completely. It does not charge and does not display.

I already desistalled all usb windows drivers and rebooted the PC. I already rebooted the PC unplugged. I already charged fully the pc using the other usb. I changed the energy mode. I turned off the option " Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" for all usbs in the Device Manager. I'm currently doing a factory reset.

The usb does not turn the charging light on. However, a very interesting thing is that I feel energy going through the body of the notebook when the charger is plugged in both the usbs, indicating that the faulty usb may be receiving energy.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I would recommend try opening samsung device care and try factory reset the galaxy book.

Make sure samsung device care Is updated to the latest version

Hope it will resolve

Today it suddenly started working again. I suspect it was excess humidity in the air.
