This shows up on boot and now my usbc docking station doesn't work (won't even charge) and the laptop loses charge even while plugged in.

Hi Devedander,

We're sorry to hear you're experiencing charging and docking issues with your Galaxy Book2 360.

The “PDUpdate” message on boot typically points to a problem with the USB Power Delivery controller firmware, which can affect both charging and USB-C docking functionality.

To help resolve this, we recommend the following steps:

  1. Fully power off your device, wait a few seconds, and then restart to rule out any temporary firmware glitches.

  2. If available, try using the original Samsung charger directly (without the dock) to check if the laptop can charge properly.

  3. Run Samsung Diagnostics through the Samsung Settings or Samsung Update app to assess the hardware status.

If the issue continues, we recommend visiting a Samsung Authorized Service Center so a technician can diagnose and address the root cause:

We appreciate your patience and hope to get this resolved for you as soon as possible.

Thank you.
