Galaxy GalleryI'm always impressed with the image quality that the S23 Ultra alone provides in astro shots in a region that is not really very dark (Bortle ~ 4.5 sky pollution).
On a fairly clear night Apr 27, at ~ 11:30pm the Big Dipper was very high in the Northern sky (about 75° above north horizon). The upper wider-scale photo (X1 W camera f=23mm pro-mode 4 sec ISO 1200) shows the Dipper pointing down and to the left to Polaris (North Star) at 45° above the horizon here at the Carleton Place ON Canada latitude. The lower photo frames the Dipper very nicely (X3 TP lens f=69mm Expert Raw with Astro mode). Both photos taken on a simple tripod.. no other optical aid. (Photos best viewed in the dark and phone/tablet rotated to landscape mode). Project on your Samsung wide-screen TV for a neat experience in the darkest.
