3 of my friends and I were supposed to go skating for the FIRST time this day. However, we had to look for other things to do because the skating arena we arrived at required visitors to bring their own ice skating shoes.
One of them broke the silence filled with disappointmnet. 'I know a place, just hop in the car.' We got onto his car without knowing where we were being taken to. We were by Polson Pier. We were mesmerized by the view. We didn't dare to go further in because of the frozen pedestrian walkway. I had to stay back where I could actually stand, to enjoy the view.
It turns out, staying behind doesn't always mean a negative thing.
