Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, due to
the price tag for
Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is too pricey

And Qualcomm tried to sell the lower priced
Snapdragon 7s Gen 2

Humm I think it'll be used in the next year's midrange Samsung, but not for A55 I believe. Because there is a rumour that A55 will use exynos chip again with AMD stepping in to improve the ISP and GPU sector, presumably will be called an exynos 1480.

AMD, get deeper involvement with Exynos, risking all Rizen architecture into this Samsung XClipse GPU in favor of ARM architecture

Exynos problems will circle around 5G modem and XClipse GPU...

with split policy SoC

some region were with Exynos 2200
some other region were with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1

This is precisely the policy implemented for
Galaxy S23 FE...

Hopefully this time will work according to Samsung-AMD plan (this would be the second attempt) to insert Rizen-ARM: XClipse GPU into Samsung ecosystem
