Galaxy Note
I don't usually turn on my location unless I am using GPS. However Samsung's "find my mobile" uses location service to provide more accuracy on finding a lost phone. Is it possible to add the option to turn on the google location service remotely to aid in finding a phone if I ever happen to lose it?

I'm not sure you can turn it off without having the phone with you. Can you test it out? I usually just keep it on as it doesn't seem to affect my battery too much.
Also another option if you're signed in on your Gmail account on a computer, you can also just search on Google 'find my phone' too. You do need location on for it too but it's nice to have other options.

would you need data turned on for the phone to send it's location?
