I have an official Samsung LED flip case for my Note 8. For the first two weeks I had no issues with Spotify. It would show on my case and allow me to play/stop/pause/skip. Now for almost the last two weeks it will no longer show on my case. I have no issues with any other features on the case. Just in case, I did update to the latest version of Spotify but it didn't fix the issue. Does anyone know why it no longer works? Is there any way to fix it?
EDITED: I wanted to update in case anyone is also having this issue. I fixed it. Reinstalled spotify and it worked again. Then switched my settings to no notifications from spotify (which I had recently done before) and it didn't work again. Turned notifications back on and still didn't work. So reinstalled again and it's back to working. So I think the issue is to not turn off phone notifications for spotify within your phone apps
@melannieb, a suggestion would be to take your receipt and the case to the store where you purchased it, ask the store associate if they can fix the issue or just do an exchange on the case. I had an issue like this when I had my S7 and the store associate did a complete exchange. I did not have any issues afterwards. Everything worked perfectly!!
