Purchased two years ago... recently my screen cracked, I dropped it. Purchased a new screen and following you tube directions...they mention removing 5G antennas. My phone did not have the 5G antennas. I would not have known this if I had never replaced my screen. What else is Samsung hiding from us? What pisses me off even more is that I purchased 5G and never really had it. Thanks Samsung. Pixel....here we come!
are you referring to antennas on the side ? There are different type of connection for 5G. That side antenna is for mmWave. if it not present, does not mean your phone is not 5g. it will still support lower and middle band.
if i am not wrong, mmWave antenna is still useless in Canada as we don't have mmWave infrastructure. it is still work in progress.
Hi, Samsung service centre would not remove the 5G network after performing the screen replaced. Could you please tell us from where you replaced your screen ?
