Make sure there are no other cards (credit cards etc) when using the nfc functionality and try again. If the issue persists perhaps try setting up wifi printing instead. to test why your nfc function is not working correctly please contact your local Samsung Service Center (http://www.samsung.com/ca/support/servicelocation/) as they can inspect the device physically.
