I have the Samsung ultra note 20. Ever since January or February 2021 my phone will not download or open any pdf file with any app (Adobe, Microsoft Word, office...). These file files open fine on my computer but have stopped working in NY phone. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several apps and I continue to get errors. I can't even save the files because there is no option to save them. This is getting very annoying.
I solved the problem. When I used the internet app the phone came with the pdf files could be saved and or opened. I uninstalled and reinstalled chrome and now it works again.
Thanks for the solution, I used to struggle with that problem as well. And since I had to work with PDF files pretty often, it was an actual issue for me. I've been using https://pdfguru.com/edit-pdf to work with PDF files for a while, and while I had that problem, I was using it on my computer only. Thankfully, now I can do everything on my phone as well.
