So I kind of [bleeped] up today. I went to delete a picture of my Note 9 and accidentally drug my hand across the phone, which selected a bunch of other pictures by clicking on that "select all from this date" circle thing without even noticing I did it and clicked DELETE then I saw the message "Deleting 401 images".. I clicked "cancel" but it was too late. I mean it's not the end of the world; the pictures deleted weren't something to cherish, but why isn't there a "Recently Deleted" folder (like on the iPhone)? Also I didn't have Samsung Cloud setup... I didn't think I would have to.

Just is a little disappointing that once an image is deleted it's gone.

Still love my Note 9... never switching back to iPhone... just wanted to rant a little bit.

Thanks for listening.

if you had Samsung cloud turned on in the settings then you can go to the deleted images and it would be there

Hey @CanadianHitman,

That is incredibly frustrating, I'm sorry you lost so many photos 😢 Samsung Cloud does come in handy in situations like these, I'd recommend backing up important photos you don't want to lose.

@Habsfan is correct though, the One UI update will come with a "Recycle Bin" feature so that you can avoid this happening again!

Cheers,
Sabrina

@KWEEN101 - waiting sucks, but as a fellow Canadian, I feel your pain especially since our Carriers are slow, and Samsung Canada has trouble even spelling (words) back on customer inquires. Have faith though, maybe all the roughness will kick their butts in gear. Doubtful but hey, ya never know.
