My girlfriend is blind and uses some of the accessibility features on her s9 to be able to text and use all features of the phone by voice
Well that's the issue, the text to speech in both the Google text engine and the Samsung keeps resetting it's settings, the voice will go from being set at normal to dead slow.
Voice to text often inserts words into a text she has not said and picks up the phone voice when recording a text.
Phone just came back from service or this issue and was great for the first week, there are no 3rd party applications on the phone other than the ones that came preinstalled.
If this issue can't be resolved than we will have no choice but to go to an iPhone
What did the service people say about the issue - Do you know what they did to fix it (albeit temporarily)? I use Google TTS & I haven't experienced it changing it's settings... Hopefully it will be resolved permanently... 🕊️
