This is ridiculous and I'm so fed up that even all these years later its maybe dropping to 1hz now on developer setting enabling shie refresh rate, you no longer get 24 or 10 but -- which I'm assuming means 1hz because I habe seen text of 10, but I habe realized that even when I'm not touching the screen its staying for -- on few seconds than switching to 24 60 120 without me even touching the screen or when I play 10fps video it struggles to stay at 10hz and usually only drops to 10hz for a second that goes back upto 60 and most video on YouTube which are recorded in 24 or 30fps the refresh rate mostly is at 60 and this isn't an android issue because p8p n p9p drop down to 1hz qnd stay consistent and when watching 9fps video the refresh rate consistently stays at 9 and when watching 20fps videos it sticks to 20hz where samsung devices struggle to go below 24hz and even without touching the screen it consistently switches between -- and 24hz its crazy to imagine that I'm still raising this point amd Samsung is continously getting away with this and this year no one is rasing the issue anymore.

Hi qwer123,

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your detailed feedback regarding the adaptive refresh rate behavior on your Galaxy device.

We understand your frustration, and we truly appreciate the time you've taken to explain the inconsistencies you've observed. Adaptive refresh rate is a key feature designed to balance smooth user experience with power efficiency, and we are constantly working to improve its implementation through software optimization.

Please note that the actual refresh rate behavior can vary based on several dynamic factors, including touch input, foreground application behavior, screen brightness, motion on screen, and background processes.

We understand your concern about refresh rate not consistently matching video frame rates (e.g., 10fps, 24fps), and we'll share your feedback with our development team for further review. We're also continuously improving One UI based on user input like yours.

If you'd like, we encourage you to submit an error report through the Samsung Members app immediately after noticing the unexpected behavior. This helps our team review the specific conditions and further optimize refresh rate logic in future updates.

I'm sure this copypasta will fill his belly with happy emptiness and impress your boss! Will it deliver any changes? No... the driver doesn't carry change.
