So when the s25 ultra came out i decided it was time to upgrade my old a11🤣 ya i know... I was very happy when i first get it but it changed pretty quickly after realising that i had a pretty serious battery drain issue. Contacted samsung 3 times and did everything they told me to do but nothing worked. Note that battery drain was just one of many annoying glitch like défault camera doing terrible pictures to the point where my old a11 was doing better pictures. Ever since i received android 16 one ui 8 the battery drain stopped and now i can do my full day with at least 30% at the end lf the day. The camera app now gives premium pictures and pretty much every glitch i was experiencing has been fixed exept for one where sometimes the phone overheat when watching youtube on the youtube app. Dosent happens often but still happens. Just wanted to share my experience im curious if you guys experienced these problems with android 15 one ui 7.

Hi Bennywong13,

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with your Galaxy S25 Ultra prior to the recent update. We understand how frustrating battery drain, camera performance issues, and overheating can be, and we appreciate you sharing your detailed feedback. It is encouraging to hear that the Android 16 with One UI 8 update has resolved most of the concerns.

Regarding the occasional overheating while using the YouTube application, we recommend the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Software Updates: Ensure both your device and the YouTube app are updated to the latest versions.

  2. Background Apps: Close unused applications running in the background to reduce processor load.

  3. Cache Management: Clear the cache of the YouTube app to prevent performance conflicts.

  4. Safe Mode Test: Restart the device in Safe Mode to check if third-party apps may be contributing to the issue.

  5. Device Cooling: Avoid prolonged use in high-temperature environments and remove any heavy protective cases during extended video playback.

  6. Diagnostics: Run the Samsung Members diagnostic tool to monitor device temperature and performance.

If the issue persists, we recommend contacting Samsung Support for a more detailed inspection. Your feedback helps us improve, and we truly value your patience and continued trust in our products.
