Wipe the cache partition. If that doesn't work see if you can do a backup and reinstall the OS.

Unfortunately some apps don't work if your installing games look for a warning saying it wasn't made for a newer os so may have some complications something like that maybe not exactly that but pretty much the same thing

Hi Dinosaurus,

As said by RobertZ, Please try Booting into Recovery by Wiping Cache partition. If you wipe your cache partition, it removes any temporary files that may be causing some problems or issues with your device, all of your personal files and/or settings will not be affected when you wipe cache partition.

1. Hold the Power button and Volume Down to open the power options where choose the Power off.

2. When the screen goes dark press the Volume Up and Power keys together.

3. Let go of all held buttons when you see the Recovery mode on the screen.

4. Then you should select Wipe cache partition. Use Volume Up to navigate and the Power button to accept it.

5. Choose Yes and press the Power key to confirm that operation.

6. After that select Reboot system now with the Power key.

It's probably being caused by some 3rd party app you installed. Boot the phone into safe mode and see if it still occurs.

First, completely power off the Galaxy phone or tablet > Power on the device and when the Samsung logo appears, press and hold the Volume down key > If done correctly, "Safe mode" will display on the bottom left corner of the screen. If "Safe mode" does not appear, repeat the steps above > Once you are in Safe mode, you can remove the third-party app that is causing issues > To exit Safe mode, simply restart your phone or tablet and it will reboot normally.

Note: You can also enter Safe mode by opening the Power menu, touching and holding the Power off icon, and then tapping the Safe mode icon.

Thank you.
