Hi!
I take many pictures that contains the sky with my new S24 Ultra. Just point and shoot (optimization set to minimum). And immediately noticed a lot of artifacts and colorful banding lines over the sky (no direct sunlight or whatever).
And that's kind of sad, because similar photos with my previous Note 10+ had no artifacts or banding lines. They literally look much better. I dunno whether it is the camera or the Gallery app adding extra HDR or whatever (I turned it off too in Settings)
Has anyone noticed something similar? Now I cannot unseen those artifacts on every single photo that contains the sky 😪

There were a lot of complaints about this issue when the S24 first came out. Do Google search and you might find a solution; Samsung might have fixed the display settings.

What city is that? I loved my Note 10 plus also. I wonder sometimes where it is since I traded it in.

That's Cullera, Valencia region in Spain.

Hi R2D42, we appreciate all your efforts. Please try the Expert Raw mode and see if that makes a difference.

We request you to generate an error report by following below steps:

Tap and hold on Samsung Members Icon and tap on Error report >> select the category from the below >> Describe the issue and check the option "send system log data" then send.

An expert from the Samsung Members team will try and respond to the report as quickly as possible.

Thank you.

Hi Helenna!
Thanks for the advice 👍 I'll try Expert Raw.
However, still the point is to have good-looking photos from point and shoot camera, for quick photos, where you don’t necessarily need to put manual effort with Expert Raw.
I generated an error report with example, but got an answer that without the original file, they can not help me 🤷

But since then, no one has responded to my other error reports, so I don't even know if they are looked through.

Hi Helenna 👋
So, I did take a couple of pictures in Photo mode and Expert Raw (Raw and Jpeg).
There are still artifacts in the sky in all of them.
What even more, on photos from Expert Raw there is a clear visible grid of lines in the sky (like from the sensor or smth). Below, I attach all of them for you to check.
Would appreciate any guidance, however, I think it's a difect phone and I need to return it, as I saw pictures on my friend's S24, and they look colorful and nice, while mine in very similar scenarios are very dull and without colors.
