The auto update for phone software is set to what i want to ne able to work on wifi or mobile network but it's not doing it. The last time auto update worked was ony s21 then after that i always had to manually search for updates. Is there a glitch in the device that the scan isn't finding.
For One UI / Android software updates, auto-update only installs once the rollout reaches your specific model, region, and carrier, and when the phone is on Wi-Fi or allowed data, charging, and idle. Since updates are released in phases, it’s normal that you often need to check manually there’s no glitch with the scan.
I find it odd that my s21 always did auto update no hassle, bit from the s23 to s25 nada. I get the notification of a pending update but the system isn't taking charge of downloading it automatically for install. 🤔.
