That doesn't sound gold. When did it first happen to you? Since the first day that you got the phone?

If it's doesn't take long to get fully charged then the problem may be the battery. Otherwise you may have an app the is really hogging the power.

i know i ruined my battery by not allowing it to almost fully drain and also taking it off charger b4 it was fully charged.

Allowing the battery to fully discharge isn't really a factor anymore with newer phones, the newer ion lithium batteries really don't suffer this way like the old ones did.

I can however suggest you go into (Settings > Smart Manager) and "Clean All" followed by a restart.

9 out of 10 times battery issues occur, it's normally caused by an app downloaded by the user that's acting funny, or running in the background even after the user has closed the app.

If nothing else help, I suggest using Samsung's Smart Switch app, and Backup your phone to an SD card, and factory reset the phone. Then you can restore from Smart Switch again to recover all data. This method will ensure any error, glitch, or potential malware/virus will be removed.

Flight mode basically shuts down all data sending whether via wifi or your data plan. It's a safety thing for when you are flying on a plane so no signals from your phone can interfere with the plane.

same here, but i found solution for it: turn off most background app data usage at mobile data usage, especially google service and google play etc, no auto update helps, only left the apps you want to use for contact.
turn your wifi to only connect while charging in the wifi setting right top corner.
and no Sync pls
it works for me, if my screen is off and in my pocket, battery almost stay the same, could last 3h and battery still 95%
