Hi.

I have a problem with my S24 waking me up at night. I set Do-not-disturb mode to turn on automatically from 22:00 to 6:00, and NO EXCEPTIONS are allowed in the settings! Despite of that, events from Callendar (ex. whole-day events with default setting to notify 30 minutes earlier - in fact it is 23:30) appear with sound and screen light.

Of course, I can be more cautious while entering calendar events, just to avoid such night-time notifying, but sometimes Calendar Events are self-entering from e-mail, booking or flight companies, or from family calendar.
It is important for me, to *** with sureness, that nothing will disturb me.

Do You know how to fix this issue?

Thanks

Maciej

I use DND and for me, it works flawlessly. When you select Do Not Disturb from the Notifications screen, you'll see a section under Allowed during Do not disturb. As you can see from the screen capture, I have some allowed notifications. You should be able to remove the calendar notifications by selecting App notifications and removing any you don't want.1729343348028.jpg1729343348044.jpg

Thank You for the answer.

Nevertheless, in the section that You mentioned, I have NO apps added.
In the DND settings, Calendar is not allowed to show notifications.

How about in the Alarms and Sounds section, are calendar events toggled on?1729347597835.jpg

No. Callendar events are toggled off. I have the same setting as on screen.

Hi mrpelc,

Since you’ve confirmed that calendar events are toggled off in the Alarms and Sounds section and you have the same settings as the screen, but notifications are still coming through during Do Not Disturb (DND), here are a few more things to consider:

Check for Reminder Settings: Make sure that reminders for calendar events are not set to override DND. Some calendar apps allow setting reminders that may still notify you during DND hours, depending on how they're configured.

If you have other apps that sync with your calendar (like a task manager), check their settings. They might have their notifications enabled.

Test with Different Event Types: Try creating events with different reminder times (like 1 hour before instead of 30 minutes) to see if the timing affects notifications.

Clearing the cache for the calendar app can sometimes resolve odd behaviors: Go to Settings > Apps > Calendar > Storage > Clear cache.

Thank you.
