Contact photos change back to previous picture.

Just switched from IPhone 14 to S23+. Whenever I change a contact photo, it still shows the old one in the message app, but if I click on the message, it switches to the new one. I've restarted my phone, but no luck. Any ideas?

Hey, wish I could help. I have the S23+ as well. In my case, this doesn't happen. Are you using Samsung's apps (contacts, messages) or are you using alternatives from Google or else?

I was using Samsung's native messenger. I switched to a different one and it seemed to be fine now. Must just be the native app

Very strange. I just changed the photo of a contact to try it and it changes immediately. I use the native contacts and messages app.

I have this same issue using the native app. Rebooted. Any other ideas?
