Galaxy SWhen trying to delete a recurring calendar event that the current user hosts, users are presented with a dialog that says:
Delete
- Only this event (this and "all events" are "instant action" buttons)
- All events in series
- Cancel event and notify all attendees (this is a separate check-box)
If you choose either "Only . . ." or "All . . ." but haven't clicked the checkbox at the bottom, the event disappears from calendar and there's no way to then alert attendees. For me, it makes no sense that the "notify" checkbox defaults to unchecked. At a minimum, users should be able to control whether the default is "notify" or "don't notify". The default behavior in Outlook is to notify. In Google calendar, it's not possible to cancel a meeting that you host without notifying attendees."
Please improve the Samsung Calendar behavior.
