I'm attaching two pictures to help with my question. and my question is : why do I keep getting these error emails when I try to open the email app on Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. My software is up to date as far as I know. I have hit "continue" once before and it went back to normal for the rest of the day but the very next day I kept getting these messages. Please help. I hope I don't have a virus. and how do I fix it if I do.

go to app in settings by holding samsung email app. select app info, go to storage clear cache and clear data.

when done add your email account again. it should work after that

Thank you. I did as you said and have not had any more error messages. But I am still wondering why I got them in the first place.

It's just like reverfication of your email account. Usually email apps will ask you to enter password again to verify. This email app sometimes gives error that you mentioned and all you have to do is reset your account.

Brian45... Yes, same issue here started about 2 hours ago.  Makes the phone almost unusable.  I am also getting pop up error messages that Samsung Home Experience has stopped - but that doesn't seem to be popping up in Safe Mode so far.  I am guessing this is a Samsung update issue of sorts.  I certainly hope they sort this out ***quickly***.

This isn't working! As soon as I close the app down it foes it again. I need a real fix!

I have a slightly different problem. My email app won't open. I get an error message  that says "Email keeps stopping". I have the latest update installed. I tried clearing the cache and clearing data, and other than losing all of my data and emails, the app still keeps giving me the same error message when trying to open it.

Try uninstalling updates for Android System Webview. Should be in Settings > Apps > Android System Webview. Then hit the three dots in the top right and hit Uninstall Updates. This should fix the crashing without having to uninstall the app completely.

I'm having the same problem but my Android System Webview is disabled. I don't use Chrome. There is no option to uninstall updates nor to enable in Settings. No option to install/enable in Play Store either.

Same problem here.  Several apps crashing with popup saying '(app name) has stopped.'  Do not even have Android System Webview to disable.
