Hi Atsirt, to change the device name of your Samsung Tablet, please Go to settings >> Scroll down >> About device >> Click on the device name >> Now change the device name.
This works on the device. However, in the overview of devices in my Samsug account, the generic name is still displayed... Sometimes. Other devices do not show this "flaw"...
