Is it possible to hold the "home" button and receive Gemini Google assistant instead of just usual googling on Samsung s24?

Settings, advanced features, side button. Click on long press and select Google Assistant.

Please try the above workaround shared by RobertZ to Set Google Assistant (or Gemini) on Long-Press Side Button on your Galaxy S24.

If you’ve already set up the Gemini app and linked it to your Google account, it should launch instead of the classic Assistant.
